TellUsFirst™ was established in 2016. The idea behind this innovative solution began with our sister companies Optimum Results and Customer Perceptions.

After many years of providing bespoke training programmes and market research solutions to businesses, we realised our clients had a need for instant feedback from real customers. In addition to this, our clients frequently expressed their frustrations at receiving negative online reviews that were left about their business, without giving them a chance to rectify the situation first. Hence the name, TellUsFirst.

Customer Perceptions has been a leading consumer research company serving several markets over the past 26 years during which time we have processed over 1.5 million customer feedback insights and gained a thorough understanding of the needs of our Retail and Service Sector clients.

From this base, extensive research and utilising SmartPhone technology, our team developed TellUsFirst™ which was market tested from 2016 to 2018 and is now available to our existing and new clients across the globe.

TellUsFirst is an innovative customer feedback tool for clients and draws on the wealth of experience from Customer Perceptions.

At its core, TellUsFirst™ addresses three major client requirements, very cost effectively, in real time with full technical support:

  1. Research shows that (a) 97% of customers leave without complaint and (b) with social media, they can now, very quickly, tell hundreds of others of their grievance. However, research also shows us that, if we know of the problem and if properly handled, a dissatisfied customer can be converted into a far more satisfied and loyal customer that would never have been the case prior to the problem arising.
  2. For decades, the terrific management benefits of Mystery Shopping programmes have been restricted almost exclusively to large, multioutlet organisations. TellUsFirst™ breaks down all the traditional barriers of complex operations and costs. Instead, it provides hugely cost effective, real time customer feedback information for Retail & Service sector owners and managers, regardless of business size, sector or geographical location.
  3. The self-administration and dashboard information allows the TellUsFirst™ user to create real ‘competitive advantage’ through monitoring their customer’s attitude, feelings & opinions across an endless list of products, marketing and merchandising projects, new services, customer care & service programmes, the impact of staff training initiatives and so forth     ….and, most importantly, always providing the customer with the ability to “Tell You First”!!!!

Our Team

TellUsfirst™ are based in Dundalk with a full-time team of 18 staff. We operate in the retail, financial, telecommunications, hospitality and tourism sector.

Over the past 26 years we have completed in excess of 1.5 million assessments including, consumer surveys, mystery shops, site audits, price checks, and customer satisfaction surveys across all sectors. 

Our sister company, Optimum Results, specialise in building SME Management Competencies to optimise business performance. To date, we have a worked with over 17,500 clients across 20 Countries.

We are the only company to have three management skills development programmes classified by the EU’s Training Foundation (ETF) as being at “International Best Practice”.
